LOCATION:
An unnamed beach in Pulau Lang Tengah (though I conveniently name it D Coconut Beach because it is the only resort on this sandy stretch).

DESCRIPTION:
This is the latest addition to the many affordable resorts in Pulau Lang Tengah. It hosts a decent selection of rooms, a nice restaurant and an amazing swimming pool. The facilities include deluxe rooms with air-conditioning, attached bathroom, local TV channels, dive centre, etc.

The electricity supply is cut down for an-hour twice daily to refuel the diesel generator (this was a while back, I suppose the resort management has taken care of that since).

While the resort itself is fronting a beach, one is better off lazing at the exquisite swimming pool. The beach is full stony dead corals (be careful), although there is an ample space for beach sunbathing for everyone.

I paid RM350/pax for a 3D/2N package. That includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, 2 snorkeling trips and a round trip boat from Merang jetty - Lang Tengah - Merang jetty. The price I paid was a pre-opening promotion because the resort was recently opened. Boat departs around 9-10am from Merang Jetty, a 30-minute drive from Kuala Terengganu Airport.
