Fronting the beautiful Pantai Teluk Dalam in the northern portion of Pulau Redang.

DESCRIPTION:
One of the three international class resort in Redang (the other one is Berjaya Redang Golf & Spa, and Laguna Redang Beach Resort). Boasting some excellent sea view rooms with plenty of garden view rooms. A small swimming pool located near the lobby-cum-dining area, but there is one particular reason why this Berjaya Resort does not need a large swimming pool.

The resort boast one of Malaysia's BEST beach! Crystal clear water and extra-fine white sandy beach. A further walking up the hills surrounding the resort will treat you with even more awe-inspiring view of the beautiful bay.

There are standard and deluxe rooms, color TV with selected channels like CNN and movies, hot shower, and telephone. I do feel the room that I stayed in was quite small. At the main building there is a coffee house, a dive centre, a beach-recreation counter, a beach volleyball court, tens of fabulous beach huts, a small library, and a health centre.

I paid RM688 for 4 nights stay for 2 persons. A special offer from Berjaya Resorts during a MATTA Travel Fair (which I have yet to see it being marketed again lately). Normally this particular Berjaya resort goes at a premium due its outstanding location and the attractions it offers.

Prices quoted usually does not include boat transfer from Shahbandar Jetty, Kuala Terengganu (note: Shahbandar Jetty and Merang Jetty are far from each other). The round trip boat transfer costs you RM70. Tickets can be bought at the jetty on the same day since the boat is huge, hence you do not need to worry about overbooking. Journey takes about 1 hr 15 mins.
