LOCATION:
At Jalan Merbau in downtown Miri.

DESCRIPTION:
One of the few recent addition of new hotels in Miri as this city booms as an oil town and a major tourist destination.

I stayed here almost for one month. I loved the location - it's right smack in the middle of the city. Food, shopping and entertainment are just a few short walks away. The same cannot be said to either Miri Marriott Resort & Spa or Park City Everly, which are located out of the city centre.

I was upgraded to a Junior Suite room, which was almost like a one-bedroom apartment. Although the interior fitting left a lot to be desired, but I can't complain much. Also, visitors staying at higher floors could be treated to amazing sunsets of Miri almost daily. And the view from the upper floors of this hotel could easily rival those at Canada Hill.

The swimming pool was rather non-descript - small and but not crowded.

MY VERDICT:
A decent business class hotel.
