LOCATION:

At Jalan Merdeka, near the Financial Park complex. About 20 minutes from Labuan International Airport (LBU).

DESCRIPTION:
The only international class hotel in the island. The building itself has a unique shape of a cruise liner when seen at certain angles as though to reflect the maritime history of this duty-free island.

The lobby, to me, was quite ordinary. The room was decent, although I would question on the hotel management's decision to use a green bed sheet. Each room has a balcony. Mine was overlooking the bustling Labuan harbour. It also provided me with nice sunset views.

The swimming pool is not too big but it looked quite exclusively designed. It is strategically located at the mid-section of the hotel. The hotel also has a decent gym, which I got the chance to try out.

Anyway, I really loved the toilet kit that the hotel provided. This one is a keeper!

MY VERDICT:
Probably the only choice for corporate travelers in this tax-free island.
