LOCATION:

From Kuantan city, drive north for about 30-45 minutes until you see the sign into Suria Cherating, which is on the right hand turn. Prior to the entrance, you will pass by a few Cherating resorts, such as The Legend, Holiday Villa and Impiana Cherating.

DESCRIPTION:
A fairly brand-new resort situated on the beautiful stretch of Chendor beach (which still can be considered as parts of the long Cherating beach strip). My first impression is that this resort has a subtle Mediterranean touch to it, mainly due to its brightly-painted building blocks and plenty of open-air spaces.

It has about 100+ rooms, consist mostly of Superior type, which are the cheapest available (RM120/night for Garden View unit, and add about RM20 more for a Sea View unit). Terrace Garden/Sea View units are located on the ground floor, each with its own open-air balcony.

The swimming pool is rather small with an adjoining kid's pool which is shallower. The only F&B outlet here is the Bunga Padi Restaurant located by the pool. I noticed that there are also a gym, a sauna and a steam room.

The rooms are well-appointed with comfortable single beds, a huge solid-wood wardrobe, a bath tub, and TV with decent selection of programs (although the resort does not provide any sports or news channels, which I find a bit odd).
