LOCATION: Before the town of Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands. To be exact, it is located at Jalan Gereja in Tanah Rata.
DESCRIPTION: Heritage Hotel is actually a hotel and service apartment - mainly catered for families which opt for bigger suites that cater for more people. Since the hotel is located on a hill in Tanah Rata, decent view of the town and the surrounding area can be enjoyed throughout the floors. It is built in Tudor-style architecture, commonly seen on hospitality establishments throughout Cameron Highlands.
There are 165 rooms here, of various types and sizes scattered across the 6-storey hotel building. A quick breakdown of room is as follow: Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Executive Suite and Executive Suite. Each room comes with colour TV, coffee and tea making machine, mini bar, IDD telephone, en suite bathroom and balcony. The room, overall, is acceptable but nothing extraordinary.
The hotel hosts 3 main restaurants ranging from local cuisine, continental-style serving, Chinese fares and adequate mixture of beverages. The Rainforest Coffee House is the al-day dining outlet that can hold more than 100 patrons at one time. The Chinese-themed Jasmine Garden Restaurant serves mostly Cantonese fares while the Vintage Lounge Bar serves mostly cocktails and snacks.

MY VERDICT: A good attempt at the Tudor-style resort, but I felt something is missing.
