LOCATION:
From Kuantan city, drive north for about 30-45 minutes until you see the sign into Cherating Cultural Village. Go in for about 2 minutes until you see this resort to your right.

DESCRIPTION:
This resort is not directly accessible to the famous Cherating beach. It is located a little further inland, right opposite Residence Inn.

On a first glance, this resort resembles a gated home community typically found in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, but it is a resort nonetheless. Except that it is offering a serviced apartment type of experience.

Naturally there is a living room in each units, and various number of bedrooms depending on what you opt for. There is also a simple-looking kitchen for fixing some quick meals for the family.

The furnishing inside looks very tired and old, with PVC-type sofa and metal beds. There is a nice swimming pool a short walk away from most units. Otherwise, walking to Cherating beach will take about 3 minutes.

MY VERDICT:
Old-looking resort with a lot of empty rooms. Not exactly a kampong-style resort which many foreign tourists would prefer to experience in Cherating.

MY RATING:
