LOCATION:
Adjacent to the Glenmarie Golf Club, off the Subang Airport Road which is accessible from the Federal Highway.

DESCRIPTION:
A fairly old resort, which was undergoing renovation when I was there. A new Pacific Floor has been erected for the premium paying guest. I only stayed at a standard room (no thanks for being a mere corporate traveler paying cheaper rates), which was not too bad, but did not really worth anything to shout about.

Facilities were quite far from each other. It took me some 5 minutes of walking to the convention hall where I was having a function. The pool was of regular sized, overlooking the vast golf course. The lobby was an open-air concept with huge lounge for relaxing. Check out the lobby at night because I thought it was quite nice with a subtle tropical and traditional feel to it.

*Note: As of mid-2005, this hotel has been re-branded as Holiday Inn Glenmarie

MY VERDICT:
Not too shabby for an old hotel. I really liked the open-air lobby. The standard rooms could have been better.
